Tex-Mex on a Food Stamp Diet

Fried tacos are yummy – there’s no doubt about it!  But, until I made this and calculated the costs, I never realized how expensive ground meat could be!
Shopping List:
4 flour tortillas from my local Turkish market: €1,28
500 grams of ground Beef from my local butcher: €3,73
1 cup of Gouda cheese from Norma, shredded: €1,50
1 Tomato from Norma, diced: €0,26
1/2 a cup of Oil for frying from Norma: €0,07
1/4 a cup of Olives from Norma, sliced: €0,22
1 Tablespoon of homemade Taco seasoning (paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cayanne pepper, cumin, salt, pepper, and corn starch: estimated at €0,30
Sorry people, I’m just in a lazy mood today….
If you cook this all up and divide it by 4, you get €1,84 a serving
