Taste&Create
I’d like to welcome you all to the first installment of Taste&Create (T&C).
What it’s all about: community, sharing, tasting, and blogging.
This is a gathering point for the food-blogger community to come and have their recipes tested by their peers.
How you can T&C:
- Leave a COMMENT by August 28th, 2007, and include:
- your name
- the name of your blog
- your blog’s address
- I will email you by September 1st with your partner’s info.
- You will:
- Browse through your partner’s yummy blog entries, and pick out one dish that looks really interesting to you
- Create the dish you’ve chosen
- Taste it and tell us what you think (aka – blog about it)!
- Don’t forget you have to include a photo – so snap away!
- Email your entry by September 16th, 2007 with
- your name
- the name of your blog
- the name of the dish you created and a permalink to the original recipe on your partner’s blog
- your permalink
- sum up the dish in 1 phrase
- send your emails to: myamii@rezimo.com
- In your post please include a link to this post and/or include the T&C logo, so we can get the word out and have others join in the fun.
- Your personal blog entry doesn’t have to be in English, but please make sure that your “summed up phrase” is.
I already like to make things from other’s blogs, so I’m in!!

What a creative event! Afaid I found out about it too late this time around. A thought might be to advertise your event on “Is My Blog Burning” at http://www.ismyblogburning.com or “Sticky Date at http://stickydate.blogspot.com. I always go to these two sites to see if there is something out there in the blogging community I would like to join this month. You have a very creative idea and more people ned to know about it that’s for sure!!!
This sounds like such fun…if you do this event again, I’d love to take part…I’ll keep an eye out to see if you decide to put together another round.
Valli: I tried to submit my even to Is My Blog Burning without success – I hope it will be possible this month. Thanks for the heads up on Sticky Date! I’d love to have you join the second Taste&Create – it will be a monthly event.
