Taste&Create II – T&C September Round-Up
All submissions for September’s Taste&Create are finally in! Better late than never, I say!
Before we get to the good stuff…
I plan on holding this event once a month. So, I’d like to announce T&C II.
What it’s all about: community, sharing, tasting, and blogging.
This is a gathering point for the food-blogger community to come and have their recipes tested by their peers.
How you can T&C:
- Leave a COMMENT by September 29th, 2007, and include:
- your name
- the name of your blog
- your blog’s address
- your email address
- I will email you by October 1st with your partner’s info.
- You will:
- Browse through your partner’s yummy blog entries, and pick out one dish that looks really interesting to you
- Create the dish you’ve chosen
- Taste it and tell us what you think (aka – blog about it)!
- Don’t forget you have to include a photo – so snap away!
- Email your entry by October 21st, 2007 with
- your name
- the name of your blog
- the name of the dish you created and a permalink to the original recipe on your partner’s blog
- your permalink
- 1 photo of your re-creation
- sum up the dish in 1 phrase
- send your emails to: myamii@rezimo.com
- In your post please include a link to this post and/or include the T&C logo, so we can get the word out and have others join in the fun.
- Your personal blog entry doesn’t have to be in English, but please make sure that your “summed up phrase†is.
As I mentioned in my personal Taste&Create post/review, I was, for some odd reason, not able to submit my event to Is My Blog Burning – the submission form would not work! And, the “back-up” option to send an email didn’t work either, so my event never showed up. Hopefully, it’ll work next time!
Now, to the good stuff!!
Here’s what the group came up with this September! Everything looks great, I can’t wait to try these myself!
Deborah from Taste and Tell blogged about Sushi Day’s Spinach Dip. Deborah says “The only problem is that I ate way too much bread – this stuff was addictive!!”
Allison from Sushi Day blogged about Taste and Tell’s Chocolate Torte. Allison says “Easy enough for beginners to make, but still a delicious cake that can be served for fancy occasions!”
I, Nicole from For the Love of Food, blogged about both Taste and Tell’s Fresh Corn Salad and Sushi Day’s Crunchy Shrimp Roll. Nicole says “My husband and I had some, and then decided to save the rest (it was so good!) for my birthday party this Sunday!” and “The creamy avocado complemented the crunchy green onion and the very flavorful shrimp.”
This months groups:

[...] Anyways, time for Taste and Create again! This month, I got paired up with Abby from Confabulation in the Kitchen. There were so many yummy things on her website (for example, I really would have loved to make her Chocolate Pecan Pie, but believe me… I don’t do pies. My last pie ended up looking like a turkey. Long story.
) After much deliberation, I decided to make her Orange Cupcakes. [...]
this is such a great idea – which of course i completely ignored
