Greek Salad – recipe
As previously stated, I try to look for a good reason to make hummus pretty often – can you blame me? This time I decided to have a Greek salad with some baguette pizza (the pizza came out so bad looking that I won’t even bother on sharing it). Do the Greeks eat hummus? I don’t know, I’m not Greek and I’ve never been there, but it was close enough.
Anyways, I really fell in love with this Greek salad recipe from a blog called Janet Is Hungry. The recipe I tried was her accidental adaptation of her own recipe that she loves even more than the original. So, I thought I’d give it a try.
Yum Yum Yum! Is there such thing as way too much salad? No. The recipe I made could have easily fed 10 people, but my husband and I ate every last bite between the two of us and decided to leave the rest of our pizza for lunch the next day.
As some of you may know, or be this way yourselves, I just can’t let a recipe be. So, instead of screwing something critical up, I added some Turkish peppers to the salad. They weren’t too great themselves, but they didn’t damage the flavor of the salad one bit. Next time I will get some from the other Turkish market in town which I know has good peppers.
What conclusion did I come to?
1: you can never have too much
2: I need a bigger salad bowl for serving huge salads (want to buy me one?)
3: You need to try Janet’s recipe!

I have tried Janet’s recipe and it’s excellent!!!!
Mmmm… I have load of lovely Hungarian feta that I brought home from holiday last year – it needs to be eaten soon…
And I’m thinking a big chunk of it may go on this salad!
It looks delicious. Those pictures are amazing.
IT LOOK GOOD TO EAT AND YUMMY
