   I like the new layout ideas! Except for the drop-down menus not opening in a new tab. I always have at least 5 tabs open, and freak out if I lose any of them. I’m no expert, but I think there’s a way for drop-down selections to appear in a separate tab, maybe target:window?

   I really like the new look…it’s brighter and allows your fabulous pictures to pop off the screen!

   I like the changes! The drop down menu is very helpful and less cluttering!

   I really like the sidebar ideas and the idea of lightening the background colour for the banner. But I’m not sure that the new background image should be showing behind the wonderful photo of sauce in your banner. The pattern made by the sauce is wonderful and might get lost if there are little cutout flower shapes beside it. Can you keep the shadow effect that you have on the current design to separate the blog from the new background?

   Perhaps you could put a “make a donation” text link in with the navigation bar at the top of the page. And speaking of that, what about putting it just below your banner with a slightly darker background colour to divide the banner area from the blogging area? (I hope that made sense!)
