Pizza Roll Pizza – Taste&Create – recipe
Since I didn’t do any cooking while on vacation, I had to hurry and make my Taste&Create entry as soon as I got home. I was able to make the recipe in time, but do to some problems with our server, was unable to blog my entry. So, here it is.
I was partnered with Sweatha from Experiments,Emotions,Experiences with food. And, I made her Twirly Whirly Pizza.
I do have to say that I have never heard of making pizza into a sort of cinnamon bun-shaped pie, but we all thought it was fun to pull away the rolls and eat our pizza pretty much mess-free. This would make a great sort of pizza for a kid’s birthday party. And, making the pizza only took, maybe, an extra 30 seconds to make than usual.
You just make your usual favorite pizza (I used this recipe), roll, slice, place in a oiled pie dish, and bake.
I will definitely be making this again! Thanks Sweatha!

Wow,looks much much better than mine and tasty too,Good Job
This is a great idea!
We’re sorry to have missed the event this month but hopefully next month won’t be as hectic.
That looks like the kind of recipe that would be fun to make with my grandkids!
This is a great way to get pizza and as you said without the mess:D
What a neat idea, I love it!
Pizza Rolls! Lovely… what a great idea. My wife is going to love this. Thanks for sharing!
Not original, Old Chicago bar and grill has been doing these for at least the 5 years i’ve been going there.
Very cool idea. I want to try this. Very original. Did it take long to cook being so thick?
I am so glad that I have stumbled onto your blog! These look delicious! Definitely saving the recipe!

I have made pizza rolls for years and everyone loves them. I stumbled across a recipe years ago and adjusted it for my family using ground beef, pizza sauce, red peppers and mushrooms. I layer in lots of cheese and top with a spoon of sauce, a sprinkle of cheese and carmelized onions – to die for!
