Reisstomaten – Tear Tomatoes
I’d like to introduce you to a unique tomato growing in my garden this year.
In German it’s called a Reisstomate – which translates to tear tomato because you can, literally, tear off pieces of the tomato. They are like having a larger tomato made-up of a cluster of cherry tomatoes.
They’re fun to eat and nice and sweet

Great-looking tomatoes! It looks like tomato season is going to be too short for us here, so I’m living vicariously through other people’s tomatoes.
Ive never heard of this variety. They look amazing
I’ve never seen tomatoes like that, but they look fabulous!
I have one of those in my garden… only one, it’s actually a mutant regular tomato… those look like fun!
Beautiful photos! Now, how do these tomatoes taste? Are they very sweet?
Wow I love these!!!!!! It is like eating a tomato like orange sections:D
No, Tear Tomato would be “Reisstomate”, Reisetomate means “travel tomato”.
