Chocolate Caramel Seduction Cupcakes – recipe – review
This month is the big 3 for Taste&Create and to celebrate everyone is blogging about a dessert on their partner’s blog.
I chose to blog about Cupcakes, Food and Pretty Lil Things (my partner), Chocolate Caramel Seduction Cupcakes. And, although mine don’t look as awesome as hers, they sure did taste sooooo very deliciously sweet.
This is how good they were:

My littlest one just turned 1 year old this weekend, so I thought this would be perfect for his little birthday party that we held yesterday. I know, I know, they are a bit over-the-top for a 1-year-old birthday party, but, come on, I’m a food blogger. I wouldn’t be who I was if I didn’t bake over-the-top cupcakes for my little guy. Heck, my first son got petite fours for his first birthday…not so much time to make those sorts of things with a move just behind us and 2 children at home because of preschool vacation driving me up the wall…
Anyways, back to the cupcakes. They are so very very delicious – a bit too sweet for my taste and take really long to put together, but GOOD. I had some frosting consistency issues, but I am pretty sure that I only whipped the egg white mixture almost long enough – I should have gone a few minutes longer until I had almost stiff peaks.
These cupcakes are a tower of delicious sweetness. This is what they’re made of:
-chocolate cupcake
-soaked in tres leches
-topped with chocolate ganache
-topped with vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream frosting
-topped with caramel drizzle
YUMMY!

These are certainly birthday worthy. Happy Birthday to your wee one by the way. What a cutie and certainly loved these cupcakes..only crumbs left.
